Sr Ursula Wilson mfic, previously Sr Mary Dolores, has died at the Holy Spirit Home, Carseldine.

At the 21st General Chapter held in Larne, N. Ireland a new General Leadership Team was elected to serve the Institute of Missionary Franciscan Sisters for the next 5 years.

The Missionary Franciscan Sisters are sad to announce that our Sister Noela Leamy mfic died peacefully today in Holy Spirit Hospital Chermside after a long illness.

The Sisters in Brisbane gathered for prayer for peace in our convent Chapel at Kedron prior to celebrating the New Year. With the news bringing multiple stories of violence and aggression each day, the Sisters prayed for a more peaceful 2016.

An Extended General Council Forum took place in Rome from May 11 to 15, 2015 to prepare for the General Chapter in 2016. Srs Catherine White (Leader) and Patricia Treacy (Assistant Leader) attended from Australia.

Sr Pauline Robinson was farewelled by twenty Sisters at Carseldine over the weekend.
