The MFIC Sisters are very pleased to welcome Alison Stone as the inaugural Animator of Mission and Identity for FSA. We know that Alison will bring her many talents and deep love of the Franciscan spirituality and heritage to the role.

Known to many in the Franciscan family, Alison Stone has been recently appointed to the newly established, part-time position of Animator of Mission and Identity for Franciscan Schools Australia. An experienced educator with a Franciscan heart, Alison has held a DP Mission role in a Franciscan secondary school, served on the executive team of FSA for over a decade and has led her own small consultancy and formation business. Working closely with the National Executive Team, Alison’s focus in 2022 will be on animating the mission of FSA – to enrich Franciscan spirituality in schools Building resources, offering formation experiences, connecting and capacity building will be high on the agenda this year. Alison is keen to support schools to animate the Franciscan tradition.
