Sr M. Francois Wridgway recently. She was a woman of determination, mission, and faith. Sr Fran was missioned to Papua New Guinea soon after her Profession of Vows and remained there for just under 56 years. More recently she resided at Delamore, Kedron

Sr Joyce was born in Newcastle. She was the eldest child and had 3 brothers and 3 sisters. On leaving school Joyce became active in the Grail where she was recognised as a leader. Joyce soon outgrew the Grail and searched for a Missionary Congregation
This is a bittersweet moment in the unfolding of the journey of the Missionary Franciscan Sisters. After 58 years of sponsoring Mt Alvernia College in the Franciscan tradition, the Sisters entrust her to Mercy Partners.
