The Australian Circle of the Missionary Franciscan Sisters are sad to announce the death of our beloved  Sister Jo Scanlan mfic, who passed away recently following a stroke. Sr Jo served for many decades in Papua New Guinea as well as shorter times in England, Egypt, and Australia .

The Sisters gratefully thank the staff of St Vincent’s Care Carseldine and the staff of both Emergency and Palliative Care at Prince Charles Hospital.  We thank them for their professional  and compassionate care of Sr Jo.
